Method 2, Juggling Bean Bags
What you need;
- Fabric, 2x 10x30cm strips, in different colours
- Thread
- Needle or sewing machine
- Pins
- Pencil to mark fabric for cutting
- Tape measure or ruler
- Scissors
- 175g Barley or lentils, split peas, rice, bird seed.
- Scales or a cup to weigh filling
Method:
1 Measure six squares of fabric, each 10cm x 10cm square. Mark out the square with the pencil and ruler then cut out.
2 Get two different coloured fabric squares and pin together. This will stop them from slipping when you start sewing.
3 With the needle and thread sew round three sides of the fabric squares, creating a pocket.
If sewing by hand it might be best to use a stitch that goes over the edge of the fabric as this will help prevent it from fraying. With a sewing machine the same can be achieved using a zig-zag stitch.

4 Measure out 125g of split peas using the scales. If you don't have scales then you can measure out the filling in a cup, about half a cup (...?) is equal to 125g. This doesn't have to be exact as long as all three bean bags are the same.
5 Turn the empty bean bag inside out and pour in the filling.
6 Bring the two edges of the bean bag together
7 Finished! That's it, the first bean bag is complete. Follow through the steps twice more and you'll have a set of three juggling bean bags.
